Phase Eight was established by Patsy Seddon in London in 1979. As a mother of young children, Patsy found buying practical and fashionable clothing that was both affordable and sophisticated impossible. In response, she began designing her own pieces and launched ‘Phase Eight’ in a small boutique in Wandsworth Common.
