To mark the spirit of Ramadan and foster family togetherness, Souq Al Kout will be hosting a range of fun-filled and family friendly activities including its much-awaited, annual Gergean event.

After Iftar on the special nights of the 9th and 10th of June, Souq Al Kout’s Gergean festivities will be sure to delight the children who will enjoy riding the popular children’s train at Souq Al Kout with Abu Tbeila, the boisterous and talkative Gergean character who will join them in celebrating the season with traditional songs and music, as they collect their gifts, treats and snacks from participating stores along the way. The train will end its journey in the activities zone, where the excitement extends to a photo booth set against a fun and colorful backdrop – children can use fun props and pose with Abu Tbeila to create memorable photos.

Souq Al Kout will also buzz with fun and excitement all evening with a specially set-up stage with funny and colorful characters entertaining the children with songs and games, as well as an MC and DJ offering spot prizes and valuable giveaways. Visitors can also enjoy various henna designs by henna artists and participate in cookie decorating workshops.
Souq Al Kout will also welcome visitors and their families to relax and enjoy traditional Arabic coffee and mouth-watering dates at the hospitality corner located in the center of the ground floor of the mall.
