AL KOUT, a project under the overarching umbrella of the Tamdeen Group – Kuwait’s leading mixed-use property developer that is reshaping the urban and social landscape of the country through innovative projects – hosted Mother’s Day with an exciting array of activities to provide visitors and customers with three days of entertainment.
March 17 and 18 saw musical nights with two talented violin and cello performers playing beautiful tunes to entertain patrons sitting at cafes and restaurants in the mall; two larger than life “flower walls” with trees, were also created so as to enable children to pin petals with special wishes for their mothers on to them. At the end of each day, the three best greetings were selected and each well-wisher was awarded a special gift.
The two days also featured games and raffle draws for mothers and children; 500 valuable gifts were awarded to ladies, including shopping vouchers for stores at Al Kout mall, tablets, gift packs, and valuable coupons donated by Taiba hospital.
Nermeen Bishady, Marketing Manager, Al Kout, said: “We are very proud to have hosted the Mother’s Day event at our mall this year as it gave us yet another opportunity to pamper our female shoppers. For the past three years we have celebrated this day by gifting ladies with memorable gifts and this year was no exception. Kuwait is known for its family-oriented culture visitors over the weekend bore testimony to that. We were overwhelmed with the feedback from our customers who seemed happy to celebrate this day with us.”
Celebrations also took place on March 21 with roses and chocolates being served to ladies entering the mall. Through events like these, the shopping destination has transformed the Al-Fahaheel area into a vibrant social and economic center that is truly iconic, reflecting the architectural heritage of Kuwait and the region. With projects worth US$ 2 billion in the pipeline, the Tamdeen Group is committed to developing significant symbols for Kuwait.
